Behind The Art

These words tell us to be quiet, calm, attentive. The pace of life is so fast that sometimes it seems the only way we can get involved is through ever increasing productivity and speed. And so we participate, we embrace activity, we busy ourselves. We talk on the phone —or perhaps via the computer—much of the day and sometimes much of the night. We conduct business, make arrangements, or just contact acquaintances to discuss, among other things, how hectic our lives have become. With the line tied up most of the time, who knows what calls never get through?
