Behind The Art

I had been meaning to letter this Deuteronomy text for some time and finally finished it in early September a few years ago. I was at an Arts & Crafts show on the 13th of that month in 2001.

I noticed a young man studying my display intently. It was the Be Strong he was reading over and over. Finally he turned to me “I had to get out of the house. I’ve been pretty much glued to the TV for the last day or so. I just needed to hear something else. I guess this was what I needed.”
